I'm back blogging! January has been feeling like it's December I've been ripping and running throughout the city, plus it's my Birthday 🥳 month and it's been full of excitement. I can't wait to share what 🔥🔥🔥 place I've visited.

Anyway back to Muchacho!

I finally got the chance to have dinner at the cute little rail station on the Beltline I'd been passing by for the longest.

The great service we were expecting we did not get! The messed up started when our order was wrong and I don't know if the young lady was over it or not I cannot make a excuse for her unprofessionalism when it comes to how you go from fixing a problem to making it worse. The sad part about it was that this same young lady was apart of the management team.

Overall,I think the food lacked seasoning paired with bad customer service from management. It's a NO for me! Muchacho is not on my list of great eateries in the City.

I celebrated this New Years Eve at Mission + Market resteraunt with a live dj. Mission and Market offers contemporary American cuisine that is inspired by the West Coast. Located in Buckhead perfectly positioned on Lenox Road.

I partook in a 5 course meal that were pre-fixed items with wine pairings. For the amuse consist with warm winter vegetables bruschetta with black truffle robiola. I had prime beef Tataki with black Garlic whiskey sauce for my appetizer. My entree was Ginger Marinated Duck Steak with coconut Penang curry, black rice, kale. The vanilla pound cake was the best dessert.

Close to midnight the servers started passing out New Years Eve top hats, glow in the dark necklace and bracelets, and blow horns. It was a party!

When the clock finally struck midnight the dj turned up the music and cheers of joy ran in.

2023 is here and I will continue to celebrate the wins and lessons. My New Years day got off to a good start with me completing a new budgeting class and running a mile on the comet silver trail.

If I had to describe it in 3 words I would say Fun! Fun! Fun! My family started it off by opening gifts at midnight. Usually, we will open up one gift on Christmas Eve and the rest on Christmas Day but this year since we had plans to be out for Christmas we wanted to go ahead and open them and then go right back to sleep.

This year as I reflected about Christmas and how Christ gave and was the ultimate gift to all . I've embraced the mindset that it's better to be a giver like Christ because you receive so much more. Luke 6:38 speaks of good things happening to you when you give.

Our Christmas Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon and strawberry waffles.

It was just what we needed before heading off to explore the Winter Waterland at the Georgia Aquarium.

The Georgia Aquarium was packed and there was a live dolphin show in progress when we arrived so people were headed up the escalators in hopes of securing a great seat for the 🐬 show. The Winter Waterland theme was great. There was a huge live decorated Christmas tree that was in the center of building and families took advantage as it was the perfect photo opp. Make sure you click on the videos at the bottom.

I enjoyed visiting the Tropical Room and the Shark Room but I think my favorite room was the jellyfish one. I like Jellyfish because they just do their thang regardless of who's watching or not. I also like their slow rhythmic movements that captivates all who look their way.

After the aquarium we left and decided to go to Racetrack convent store and get some scratch offs for fun. I did not win but I sure did feel like Christmas 2022 was a winner!
