Rainy night at IllUMINIGHTS at the Zoo

If you are looking for something fun to do this holiday season you got to check out Illumninights at the Zoo. Illumninights is a Chinese Lantern Festival that occur after dark, when the animals go inside to their designated spaces and LED lights flood the Atlanta Zoo Campus.

This year more than 80 lanterns will be representing flora and fauna, both real and imagined – some life-sized, and others larger-than-life. Each lantern is made and hand-painted by artisans, representing thousands of hours of work

I attended on a very rainy night but even with the rain you were able to see the wild imagination and beautiful colors of the life sized figures. Overall a great trip for both adults and children for the holiday.
